Dawn of Iron Books

First Anthology  The 2021 First Anthology Collection is out now! This 104-page anthology is a collection of all of this battle packs and rules published for Dawn of Iron on 2021. Whether you're either an old salt or fresh off a receiving boat, this anthology has a lot to offer! This book includes the rules for the game, notes about terrain, and all the following battle packs: Battle of Hampton Roads, Battles of Plum Point & Memphis, That Devil, the Arkansas, Battle of Albemarle Sound, Battle of Cherbourg, and Damn the Torpedoes! Dawn of Iron: First Anthology is available now on Wargame Vault.

Second Anthology  The 2025 Second Anthology will be released toward the end of the year! This book will be larger than the First Anthology, and includes the same rulebook and terrain notes as the first. Dawn of Iron Battle Packs

Dawn of Iron Battle Packs are releases that focus on a particular battle or event. Inside each one you will find history and maps about the naval battle or event, some scenarios for you to recreate the battle, and all the ship cards that you need to use with this pack and your other games. You will need a copy of Dawn of Iron: The American Civil War At Sea, 1861-65 to fully use the contents of these packs. 

	Battles of Plum Point & Memphis This battle pack expansion covers the cut and thrust Battles of Plum Point Bend and Memphis in 1862, where rebel cottonclad rams faced off against the new ironclad warships of the Union on the Mississippi River. The Battles of Plum Point & Memphis battle pack is available now on Wargame Vault.
	That Devil, the Arkansas The attached battle pack expansion covers the successful career of the CSS Arkansas on the waters of the Mississippi River in 1862. The history and ships include both the first duel with the USS Carondelet and Tyler on the Old River, and the Arkansas' daring run past the Union fleet outside Vicksburg. The That Devil, the Arkansas battle pack is available now on Wargame Vault.
	Battle of Albemarle Sound This battle pack expansion covers the successful career of the CSS Albemarle in North Carolinian waters in 1864. The history and ships include both the battles of Plymouth and the Albemarle Sound, where the rebel ram acquitted herself well against the valiant but vulnerable wooden Union blockade vessels. The Battle of Albemarle Sound battle pack is available now on Wargame Vault.
	Battle of Cherbourg This battle pack expansion covers the raiding exploits of the famous CSS Alabama and her final duel with the relentless USS Kearsarge at the Battle of Cherbourg in 1864.  The Battle of Cherbourg battle pack is available now on Wargame Vault.
	Damn the Torpedoes! This Dawn of Iron battle pack expansion covers Admiral Farragut's brilliantly successful assault on Mobile Bay, Alabama in August 1864. The history and ships include the battle, where Farragut's wooden ships and monitors clashed with the most powerful Confederate ironclad ram ever built, the CSS Tennessee.
